That was my first thought when I saw the faces! Why not put some words on there and send a poem? I read poetry and I know the work of these authors, and yet I can honestly say I would not have recognised their faces. I guess it's better than throwing an old red wheelbarrow on there and hoping for people to make the connection.
Love the Millay connection. Just taught her again last week, and her sonnets captivated yet another roomful of 20-somethings.
